The CAVIT Cosmetology program continues to be one of the best investments a student in Pinal County can make in his or her future. Due to the program’s popularity and rigorous Arizona State Board standards, there is a special application process for CAVIT Cosmetology. sophomore and junior students must complete an application packet by the deadline February 26, 2010 to attend the following year as a junior and senior. Entrance to the program is merit-based, not first-come first-served. CAVIT does everything possible to place all applicants meeting the minimum requirements and students on the placement list are offered admittance as soon as space is available. ![]() The 2010-2011 Cosmetology program is closed. ![]()
![]() Students who successfully complete the curriculum and the required hours qualify to take the Basic Operator’s exam given by the State of Arizona. ![]() This program requires 1,600 hours of classroom instruction. ![]()
