![]() We have designed this program for students to be able to complete in two years. CAVIT will award a certificate of completion to students who successfully complete the two year program. ![]() Students are eligible to sit for industry certifications throughout the course of the program. ![]()
![]() Through a dual enrollment articulation agreement with Central Arizona College, students in the second fire science class are eligible to earn free college credit. The college defines entrance requirements, which must be met before the college will grant credit. Mike Berger Mike Berger has 11 years firefighting work experience serving in fire engineer, captain, and fire chief positions. He has 24 years of corrections work experience serving in corrections officer, sergeant, captain, and lieutenant positions. He is a fire science instructor for Central Arizona College and currently serves as the state's lead facilitator for the ADE Fire Science assessment institute. He joined CAVIT in 2008. |
