How Many Career Programs Are There At CAVIT?

CAVIT is proud to offer 9 programs for the 2015-2016 school year that include Aesthetics, Cosmetology, Dental Assistant, Fire Science, Law Enforcement, Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, and Veterinary Assistant.


Can I Earn College Credit at CAVIT?

Yes. 86% of our students go on to a 2- or 4-year college after completing their program at CAVIT. Many of our students will graduate from college with an advanced degree.


Can I Earn College Credit at CAVIT?

Yes. Seven of our programs qualify for dual enrollment credit through Central Arizona College and/or Pima Community College. There is no cost for this credit! Credit is earned in the advanced class of each program.


Can I Still Participate In Home School Activities?

Yes. We have a large number of student athletes, band members, and student council members attending CAVIT.


My Home School Has a Play or Pep Rally; Will I Miss it if I go to CAVIT?

No. We make sure that students get back to their home schools for special programs and activities. In fact, sometimes the home schools will run the buses early so that CAVIT students will be able to attend.


Do I Have to Ride a School Bus to Attend CAVIT?

No. Some of our students drive their vehicles to CAVIT, providing they have submitted all required forms.


Can I come to CAVIT for one year?

Yes. However, students that come to us for more than one year earn more credits and receive more skilled training.

On our home page, you can click on any of our 9 high school programs. CAVIT will be visiting all schools in November-December and will be talking to students about our programs.
