Students will apply their technical skills in real world learning environments.

1. By May 1, 2013, 100% of the advanced fire, law, massage, medical assistant, and veterinary assistant students will participate in a 12-hour internship.
2. By May 1, 2013, 100% of the nursing assistant students will participate in a 20-hour clinical experience at a long-term care facility.

• Students will feel empowered through serving others.
• Students will be able to apply their skills in a real world setting. 
• Students will work alongside business professionals.

Students journal before and after each internship and participate in discussion groups held at monthly meetings.
