Entrance Requirements
  • Must have completed ten high school credits.
  • Must have successfully completed two years of English.
  • Display a good attendance record.
  • Must possess a Social Security card.
  • Must be 16 years of age by the first day of classes.
  • No criminal record.

Program Length

The program requires 600 hours of classroom instruction. After completing the 600-hour program, students are prepared to take the Arizona State Board exam and obtain an Aesthetics license.

Debra joined CAVIT in 2012, and she  is a licensed cosmetologist and instructor with over 26 years of experience. She has worked professionally as a stylist in Texas, and she has three years of experience as a cosmetology and aesthetics teacher.
