Physical Therapy
Program Highlights
- Use sports-specific training, injury recognition, and physical therapy to prepare and rehabilitate the physically active.
- Use advanced ultrasound, electrical stimulation, hot and cold therapies, and mobility assist devices to rehabilitate patients after injury or illness.
- Prepare clinic facilities, chart progress, and provide the individual patient plan documentation.
Career Focus
- Upon successful completion of the one year course, students have the opportunity to test for CPR and OSHA healthcare industry certifications. In addition, students have the opportunity to earn Central Arizona College Allied Health college credit while attending the program at no cost if dual enrollment requirements are met.
